Savor the Day

1. A day off, I feel like I have been given the opportunity to do as little or as much as I want

2. That my daughter is home safely. Imagine my fear when I realized the car was not in the drive at 4:00a.m. (Now to decide whether to scold her. I cannot let it go unmentioned.)

3. Planning a trip to Marc’s

4. And Krieger’s

5. The irony of being in a country where to go on a diet means to go the the store instead of not eating.

6. Breathing the cool morning air

7. Not judging whether I am a superhero but instead realizing that being the best me is enough

8. Taking on a big project and knowing it will be OK.

9. Watching the swallows

10. Tootsie pops especially lime. I wish I could find blue raspberry!
