Everyone has a unique role to fill in the world and is important in some respect. Everyone, including and especially you, is indispensable. ~ Nathaniel Hawthorne

This is the day….

  • This is the day that our son-in-law can finally kisstheground in the United States of America…
  • …after a year of deployment…soon he’ll be Home home!  Hooray!!!
  • Went to the lake this morning after it had rained and the freshness of the air was wonderful…
  • …the surrounding mountains had some covered with snow and others with patches of snow, so lovely…
  • …visited with two young men who were taking their boat out to catch “whatever fish they could”…
  • …visited with two oldtimer anglers who had been fishing from shore for several hours and hadn’t caught anything, when lo and behold, one of them caught a 3# rainbow trout, an absolutely beautiful fish!  and then another a few minutes later (they told us to stay because we brought them good luck LOL)
  • Here’s one for your bucket list:  If you haven’t been to Butte America on St. Patrick’s Day, you haven’t seen it all…a fascinating experience!
  • “This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”  Psalm 118:24

Garrett’s mention of Belle’s article in his list

Purging out some things: “All these things are padding our egos and weighing down our spirits. When we’re not in touch with our inner self, we identify with things to feel whole.” Belle Pirri in this post

Nodding my head so vigorously with Belle’s point, I almost needed a chiropractor: “We ‘gather’ to try to make up for a ‘lack.’”

Belle’s guidance to “Shine light on the fear created by our stories”

And her wise advice: “When you’re preoccupied with things, pay attention. You’re hanging out with the ego.” (Oh, my, there goes the nodding again)

God has given us a world that nothing but our own folly keeps from being a paradise. ~George Bernard Shaw

and discharged and used up in order to exist at all.” ~William Faulkner
