Rain Rain do not go Away!

It’s been a real scorcher in Manila for the past few weeks.  Today, while travelling to the office,   it started raining.   Now everything looks more vibrant and alive.   I can’t wait for tomorrow because the patches of dried grass and wilted foliage will be vibrating with life and new leaves will appear.

Thank you God for the rain…for the promise of providence in our lives.   We know that whatever we need you will provide… in Your time.

Now the air is cooler and fresher.   Can You make it rain this weekend too?   I haven’t played in the rain for quite a while :)

Sometimes, the pain we have worked so hard to avoid is the one thing that leads us to where God calls us to go. Sometimes, feeling our need is the greatest work of faith we can surrender to. ~Bonnie Grey

He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separate from the rest – a kind of optical illusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening the circle of understanding and compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” – Albert Einstein

“Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no

one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to

do. It is bad for the mind to continually be part of unanimity.” ~Christopher Morley
