Happy Friday!

1. I am so grateful for the times when my husband understands my quirks. :)

2. He talked me through an anxious drive this morning…I was in the middle of nowhere and unsure of where I was going.

3. Making it safe and sound to watch Logan swim…and back home

4. A clean bill of health for my dog…We discovered a strange lump on her side and the biopsy showed it’s nothing to worry about.

5. I like her vet. He is funny.

6. He said her weight is just right…He wouldn’t want to see her gain any weight, but he wouldn’t want to see her go on a diet. He’s put her on diets before. <3

7. Knowing that people were praying for her…God, I love that sweet animal. (in case you all haven't noticed ;))

8. The Tour de' France…My husband and son love to watch it so much, that we're actually watching last year's tour while we wait for this year's. LOL

9. More rain…

10. Logan chose to stay home tonight instead of going to Ellie's house.

dusty trails

  • Last Monday we took our computer to the guru hospital
  • It was moving very very slow….v e r y  v e r y
  • We’d usually have it back no more than a day
  • Wed. we went to visit it and it was still cranking away
  • Guru had it running continuously on their diagnostic equipment
  • We just got the computer back today!!!!!
  • And….we have a New Computer on order!!!! :):)
  • While the computer was gone, GPa had so many old western movies on tv…
  • …that I told him I was getting dusty from all those trail rides :)

even broken tree branches need care

What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like. ~Saint Augustine

Thanks Tuesday!

  • Standing outside in the dark, real, country, DARK watching the lightening dance across the sky
  • Antici… … … pation
  • Noticing that my stepdad Dave is always learning, through books, tv and people – what a perfect partner for my mom!
  • Seeing my little cousins, who had never met before, playing together and being friends right off the bat
  • Rain, nature’s shower and as Dave said “a free car wash”
  • The small town sheriff who stopped to make sure I was okay.  I was fine just very lost!
  • Today I asked the Universe for a razor coupon.  Checked my mail to find a free razor?!  And a check for unclaimed money.  Wow!  Next up a new car.  Please envision with me!
  • Feeling richer in many ways
  • Working through my goals for the year “24 goals by 24”.  Inspired by my favorite blog “Yes and Yes: because yes is more fun than no” who sets her goals “goals x age” every year
  • Revisiting the lesson of letting go of responsibility. This is a frequent lesson for me
  • Customers who wish me a blessed day, what a sweet thing to wish

Wishing you a blessed day!
