Just So Grateful for . . .

Ending a year-long silence between me and a close friend.

Not having to venture out in the bad weather today!

Knowing how to pick my battles. Having peace is more important than winning the argument.

Being able escape my problems when my favorite soap opera is on!

Seeing the shining example of the love shared between my son and his wife. It gives me hope that kind of love is still possible – perhaps for me.

Life is Good!

2.  picking out journals for gifts — how fun!

3.  watermelon/strawberry juice to drink

4.  great people watching — hooray!

5.  losing weight so my pants keep dropping!

6.  but I don’t want to get new clothes until I hit my dream weight!  ha ha ha

7.  my son Kevin’s birthday was yesterday

8.  a wonderful celebration with family

9.  Kevin’s name means kind — and he sure is! — hallelujah!

10.  got a long purple Pendleton wool coat at the thrift store for $13 — yahoo!
