Monthly Archives: November 2015

it’s almost here

1.  heading out to california for the holiday and look forward to meeting my son and his girlfriend; and i am praying to meet my older son who hasn’t had contact since June.

2.  Blessings to all of you wonderful, wise fellow gratitude people for a Happy Thanksgiving.  We have so much to be thankful for in spite of the news media and world events.

Thank you thank you

  1. We bought land- after a long and long and long process
  2. Now for the encore- choosing builder, houseplan, and then alll the details. I have a little bit of gratitude that we get to do this, so I’m putting it here to expand my gratitude into deep appreciation and awe, which seems more on par with how lucky we are to be doing this
  3. I’m deeply appreciative right now, however, for naps
  4. And chocolate
  5. And my incredible friends and family, who all know so much more than I can ever hope to, and who share their knowledge so freely
  6. Being outside
  7. Walks, God thank you for every walk
  8. A jacket that I was delighted to find
  9. Little joys
  10. Clean clothes and sheets

Lots to do- grateful I can do it

I remember reading a book called “are you there God It’s me Margaret!” In it she would look  at a pile of laundry and say I’m grateful we have clothes or dirty dishes and say thank you for food.

Thank you  for my income and the people I work for

Thank you for my health.

Thank you for my house.

Thank you for our Church. I know why everything is so busy in December but let me relax enough to savor the flavor.

Looking to next week and seeing a juggling act of holiday, work and meetings and facing it bravely.

Quiet mornings and early to bed.Tomorrow is another day.

The line for the roller coaster ride is forming. Have a good ride.

Portia

  • For the past six days we have been without internet.  Very LONG story short: I was on the phone for a total of appox. 10 hrs. with at least a dozen techs (Century Link’s huge error).  Then yesterday thanks to Portia, a tech from Neb., who figured it all out and resolved it after two hours plus.  God Bless Portia…she put forth her all !  During that time I was guided to refer her to Creative Spiritual Women and WLG…she exclaimed that this was exactly what she had been seeking at this time of her life.  We then agreed that perhaps this is why we were drawn together for resolution and peace for both of us.
  • This morning we had internet service!  The past week we’ve felt like we were “rode hard and put away wet” :):)
  • Grateful for Tom and Randall
  • Grateful for Rick here in Montana who extended extra effort and came to our home to help us.
  • Missed going to WLG each morning and was so glad to come here today, welcoming all of your comments and lists :)
  • Smiles :):) to Rose, Garrett, JBayonne, Happy Blessings, Maryellen, Crystal :)
  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARYELLEN!!!!

sunny day

1.  so grateful for good friends, happy time celebrating in the big city of Cleveland

2.  Jumbo colossal shrimp with a spicy sauce and JUMBO green grapes; both – compliments of generous Carol

3.  a staff of helpful, kind people available to meet your every whim!

4.  prayers for the entire country of France with God’s grace and healing energy

5.  Today, at the gym, a stranger said “Good morning.”    This happens very infrequently.  Made my day.

6. Grateful to share weight training classes which make the time pass so quickly.

7.  New hair stylist that I liked personally and professionally.  Very grateful since I have tried at least 4 others.   She is  a traveler which I find very interesting.

8.  Thankful for each Gratitude participate, whether you are a reader or post.  This is a great forum to learn and share.

9.  Thankful for the gift of yet another day.
