Overdue Gratitude

While I do try to regularly acknowledge how much I have to be grateful for, writing it down sure has power. I was reminded of this when I was recommending gratitude lists to an old friend. :)

1. Tired dogs. I have always listed a lot about Sugaree, our chocolate lab, but this summer we adopted a boxer mix named Molly. Molly is a rescue dog and she has stolen our hearts! They are worn out from an early playdate and sleeping soundly on the couch. <3

2. Simple Christmas decorations

3. Accepting what is…I have been struggling with our boy turning into a young man. Of course I knew this would happen and it's wonderful! It's just gone by too fast.

4. He still likes to bake with me. :)

5. Letting go of things that need to go, even when it's painful

6. Learning to be creative in a new way

7. Having some time to myself

8. Not feeling any holiday pressure

9. Grandma's recipes

10. Working as a team

2. Brushes
3. Observing with the body?
4. Not knowing what is coming
5. Julia with the smile of the century
6. An interested audience
7. She was nice and gave me water so I wouldn’t burn
8. A ride so I would not get wet
9. A loaner car
10. The new possibility
