A time to be born/a time to die

A new baby last week and this week so many deaths. This is the life cycle but I pause a moment.

Each person a has a story. Each one a tribute to their life well lived. All were brave. All were loved.

How can I support the grieving? The power of listening. The impact of  saying little. The importance of being there.

Embrace those around you . Be kind. Be patient. Grateful for those who call me friend.

We can be reborn by our decisions. Choose wisely.

The energy of the children at Vacation Bible School is renewing. They make me laugh.

Rather than waiting for the other shoe to drop I will put them  on and go follow my path.
