My first day back and work yesterday went well, although busy the second half of the day.

Little more done on my house, it was kind of hard not being here to see the goings on on Wednesday but all seemed to go well with the pets and the work.

Up and ready for another day.  A little tired of going out the porta potty but grateful at the same time to have it.  Hopefully, this weekend I will have a toilet in the house.

Happy for the cool temps but miss the sun.

My son, who took our cat in his bedroom all night.

A good up of coffee.  Still feeling a little tired.

Being able to fid our cat after midnight last night.  With the work on the house, he has more places to hide. ;) I was afraid he landed in the basement where he got caught up on the rafters one time or outside.  We have kept him an inside cat.

Two more days of work left.  Very short week.

Being sober another day and nicotine free.

God.

My family.

I am a 58 year old Native Minnesotan. I work as a Storekeeper at a local hospital here in town. I have been sober since April 18, 1982 and have not smoked since September 8, 2005. I am a Born Again Christian who loves Jesus and am grateful for each day I wake up. I have found that even in the hard times, like after my husband's suicide that I can still find things to be grateful for, even if they are little things. God always has my back.

  1. Skeeter is giving you the message that enough is enough. Two of our cats are daytime outside. They always come in at dusk but Callie wanted some night life last nighht. I fretted till she appeared this morning. We will be careful tonight!
I’m down two pounds. It seems like it should be more!
