What I Am Excited About Today: My youngest son turned Sweet 16 back on the 12th, we are celebrating with family today.Β 

What Would Make Today Amazing: Knowing my youngest enjoys his day today; hopefully having the energy to take him to look for a gift he wants for his birthday.

How Can I Set Myself Up For Success Today: Not mess up the recipe for the dessert I’m making for today’s gathering! LOL

Today’s Affirmation: Today is my lucky day! (Friday the 13th is better than Monday the whatever) (I worry less about Friday the 13th than I do about Tuesday the 17th)

What I Am Excited About Today: It’s Friday the 13th! Also very tempted to go out to Ink 180 in Oswego, IL for their Friday the 13th Flash Sale for a $31 tattoo to donate toward a worthy cause.

How Can I Set Myself Up For Success Today: Be as present as possible throughout the day, always looking for a chance to make someone smile or lend a hand.

I Am Currently Feeling: Grateful, tired, happy

I Am Grateful For: Amazing coworkers and interesting people (patients) at work

The Best Part Of My Day Was: Helping one of my people relax so much that he fell asleep so soundly, he was snoring like crazy! Same person told me that after my very first visit and massage with him last week, he had feeling in his toes for the first time in a number of years – that was humbling to hear.

What Can I Learn From Today’s Experience(s): I think I’m going to be asking about moving my last 3 people on Fridays to Saturday mornings if possible. By the time I get to my last 2 people they are asleep. It’s not fair to them.

A Positive Thought To Carry Me To Sleep: Today I know for sure I made a difference for one of my people. I Love My Work!

I Am Currently Feeling: Grateful, happy and tired

I Am Grateful For: Out of all of the people (patients) that I see for work, only one is still in isolation for COVID precautions but that person will actually be out of isolation tomorrow.

The Best Part Of My Day Was: Helping one of my coworkers who was having a much longer day than I was and was hungry; PB & J are always just the thing!

What Can I Learn From Today’s Experience(s): Be as prepared as possible, you never know who you could help out at the drop of a hat.

A Positive Thought To Carry Me To Sleep: I am ready to sleep soundly and wake refreshed in the morning.

I Am Grateful For: Beautiful weather almost all day, sunshine and a light breeze. I even got to wash Serenity on the way home because it was 50 degrees out!

The Best Part of My Day Was: Getting to meet my new person today. It will be one of my more difficult cases, but I know it will be well worth it.

The Best Part of My Day Was: The relative quiet throughout the day. Even my gaming teenage boys managed not to be to loud today.

Today I am grateful for ~

1) A wireless, bluetooth keyboard making this much easier to type through my phone now – Thank You Hubby!

2) My Kindle Fire that Hubby bought for me last year. It really made my New Year’s Intention of “Read More Books” easier to do many times when my hands were hurting from the rheumatoid arthritis.

3) Safe travels to and from work today. It was supposed to snow where I was today and it didn’t, or at least not asΒ  much as it could have.

4) This month marks 10 months that I will be with my new job and I could not be happier doing what I love! After not working from December 2019 till Feb. 2020 because of a broken bone in my foot, then not working from March 2020 until March 2022, this job is a blessing in many ways!

5) For my Hubby having undergone 2 surgeries in the past few years that have helped ease much of the physical pain he has been in for far too long. His road to healing has been long, and we know there are more curves coming ahead, but little by little the past 2 years he is feeling better

6) For my Angels, Guides and Guardians – always and all ways – for protecting me in countless known and unknown ways every single day. Thank You!
