Snow daze…

Here I am again telling you about our snow, this time in the Spring when we’ve had lovely weather….Now we’ve had 3 days of snow, about 4in. at our house and 12in. at our daughter’s…more, of course, in the higher elevations and passes.  And the weather forecasters do give us winter storm warnings.

It’s been heavy wet snow and perfect for building snowpeople :)  Some melted away after a day or so and then came back.  We need the moisture so are happy to see it!

We do keep our shovel, snow boots and winter jackets near all year….yes, we’ve even had snow on the 4th of July :)  Gotta love Montana!

“I Will Always Write Back”  Love that book, Couldn’t put it down until I finished.

Abundant Blessings!

  • Happy Thanksgiving!
  • Love my family ♥
  • A family gathering tomorrow…
  • …those who are in healthcare, RN at hospital, will not be coming…
  • …pray for all of them and the help they give others.
  • Our warm Autumn weather…thankful for holiday travelers.
  • Our 61st wedding anniversary today…Some say “Really!”  I say “Grandpa doesn’t like change.”  LOL    We are Blessed.
  • Very grateful for WLG and those who share their thankfulness.
  • Abundant Blessings to each of you and your precious families!

  • The snow continued and we have 12 inches…our daughter has 20 inches…
  • …night temps a little below zero…
  • Issue is that it’s not January but October…we love Montana!
  • Grateful that Gpa is able to shovel….he wants to do it and rests at intervals
  • Forecast is much better with no precip and warmer :)
  • A smile for the day was when I noticed the 3 huge pumpkins on neighbor’s deck with piles of snow on top of each one and the orange peaking out.
  • GPa knows a man who has 2 dogs named Romeo and he was asked why he named both of them Romeo….he said they like to be outside and when he needs them to come inside, he opens the door and calls out “Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo…”  true story.  Okay my WLG friends, I’m signing off now :):)

  • LOVE my family
  • Snow  6 inches, more in mountains
  • Temps in teens o/night

  • Interesting sunrise this morning…a bright orange ball against a light grey sky
  • Enjoying these nice hot summertime days :)
  • Airplanes:  Sil finally found and bought a nice airplane…he pilots both helicopter and fixed wing.  Son actually made his third airplane and pilots it nearly every morning in this great weather.  Brings me memories of when he was a little boy and loved to put model airplanes together LOL.
  • Speaking of years past, I was thinking about my Gma’s button box…great memories and adventures from that exciting box! ♥
  • Oohhh our 55 in. tv lost its video….had to get another one….Gpa needs the larger size and sits in his recliner a few feet in front of it, with special glasses, so he can see and enjoy his programs.  Bless our son who set it all up for us.
  • Oh dear, had a yellowjacket nest nearby and they were swarming around…good news is we got rid of them.
  • Ah, me and my lists LOL….am crossing off things that need to be done before winter begins.  In the meantime am enjoying the hot sunny daze :)

  • Welcome 3 days of raining on the fires in a wooded area of homes…
  • …some prepared to evacuate but were able to stay…
  • …Praise God none of the homes were destroyed.
  • A brown bear in daughter’s yard looking for food, also another where lady and her two dogs were walking, bear wasn’t interested in them, only searching for garbage for food.  Bears displaced due to fire.  I feel sorry for them.  People call Fish/Wildlife/Parks and they relocate them to a safe area.
  • Always lovely deer in daughter’s yard…recently a momma deer with her 2 babies, so sweet.  They know they are safe there.  (Bears rare)
  • GPa’s EKG showed his heart is healthy ♥
