Grateful we’ve had nice Autumn weather for a week…
…after the snow we had…our daughter still has some snow on her deck…
…and we plan ahead, running errands and stocking up on groceries :)
Our neighbor Luann has lovely marigolds planted around her patio…
…even after being covered with snow they are sturdy and showed their glorious orange colors.
Mailed in our ballots for a county election issue.
Bears in the yard of daughter’s home…they’re looking for food to store for their long winter naps…s.i.l. decided not to use the hot tub :)
Thankful that my cousin is well after her out patient laparoscopic surgery.

After the snow here in Montana several weeks ago, measured in feet, we have had some lovely autumn weather…
…until yesterday and today…snow started yesterday and is still falling in some areas at 6″ and more in our area but should stop soon.
GPa had our winter boots all in place near the door with shovels ready to go…he’s done this before LOL
So far temps are above zero..
Good days for chicken and dumplings and elk stew.
Since this is October when we usually have lovely autumn Indian Summer weather…
…I have my Halloween knickknacks out, with ghostly smiles :)
Oh, and about a month ago I mentioned going to see about getting my driver’s license renewed and that they said I’d have to wait 2 hrs. or so if I didn’t have an appointment….well….my daughter and I decided to brave it and went back very early in the morning when they opened, took something to eat, thinking a maximum of two hrs. couldn’t be too bad. Well…..we waited an hr., then 2 hrs., then 3 hrs, then 4 hrs. and at 4 hrs. and 5 min.!!!! I was called in….it took 5 min. for the eye exam and picture taken. Hmmm there otta be a law…? :) ..and life takes us down interesting roads, pun intended :)

Dr. Cardiologist all smiles…said he loves to give good news :)….
….said my heart is back to healthy normal ♥ Praise God!

Able to drive again…no long road trips but enough to keep my independence
My beloved granddaughter insists Paris is still on my menu :)
Grateful for Ian’s WLG posts….our “resident Toastmaster”…great!
MaryEllen and Carol’s travel to Crystal’s autumn party….fun!!
Gson AJ and wife Tami are in beautiful Hawaii…so many smiles and sunshine!
GPa baked more bread….said there aren’t any ingredients in it that you can’t pronounce :)

Weather…daylight turning to night this morning…rain pouring down hard…
…then nice, no rain, sunshine…
…noonish..clouds, rain, hail, thunder…need the rain!
When I did my domestic engineering, vacuum wouldn’t start…
….GPa to the rescue, fixed it….he calls it “laying on of hands” :):)

My beloved sister Belle passed away this week…
…May she rest in peace
Her birthday was Dec. 22 and our Mother wanted to select a “holiday” name…
…she saw that some babies had the lovely names of Carol and Holly…
…and then she thought of Belle♥
Of course, you probably know that Belle means beautiful in French.
We have smiles for her when we see that her name is continuing in our family.
Now Belle has no more pain and is in a happy place.
My gratitude for our awesome family and all of the help provided during this transition.
