Lessons from a black and white cat

Pandora is sick and I sense her time is coming to an end. She is old by cat standards. I don’t even remember when we got her outside the Acme for Hubby’s birthday. She has loved us unconditionally.

She is an empath. She can always sense when I am sad or lonely. How often I pushed her away! Let me learn to be sensitive as she to others feelings.

Once she got lost for months. We always figured she got in a car or was taken. But one morning she was home. Follow your heart and it will lead you home.

It doesn’t take much to be a good cat. She is the best just by being.

I was up before dawn singing to her and begging her to rest. It reminded me of other bedside times. It is a spiritual moment.

There are not a lot of cat songs but lullabies and carols work. No creature should be alone at the end of their days.

Song of the day Silent Night.

  1. I had time with both our Sparky dog and Penny dog. It’s precious time to say goodbye and provide comfort, whether a pet or a person Helps with recovery.
