- I woke up feeling kind of down. I watched a story about a little girl who battled brain cancer on Good Morning America. I have NO problems.
- A roof over my head. It is old and some parts are falling apart but I am warm at night. Some people are not so fortunate and I pray for them even if I do not know them.
- My health. Back hurting? Knee hurting? Did not sleep well? Big DEAL. I can get up and live my life. God thank you!
- I GET to go back to work tomorrow. It has been so many years since I have been out of work, it is hard to imagine waking up to no money to pay my bills. Very grateful for my job.
- My friends and family. They keep me going even when they do not know it.
- My son, Justin. So proud of him.
- My cat, Skeeter. He is laying between my legs on the chair as I type this.
- My church and my A.A. program.
- Peace, when I let myself have it.
- Prayer. So very thankful for it.
- Beautiful scene of Lake Superior as I look out my window.
- Good coffee to wake me up.
- Reading the book of Luke this Christmas season, along with my other Bible readings
- I can listen to the church service online when I cannot get to church because of work.
- That I can live one moment, one hour, one day at a time when I am feeling down.
Happy Holidays Karen!
