So Much Gratitude!

1.  Cold at the baseball game yesterday and my husband, Tom, thoughtfully brought a blanket for me.

2.  Today he took me to the store because I didn’t feel like driving!  What a guy!

3.  Thank you to Crystal, who sent me a fun and goofy postcard, which I hauled around with me for a week!

4.  Church this morning, great music, dear friends, and a good sermon.

5.  Got my training yesterday to become an usher at a local venue.  Will be really fun!

6.  Sweet and juicy peach!

7.  Tasty green grapes!

8.  Trying not to release Summer, but the temperatures are screaming Fall!

9.  Betty Boop

10.  Found a really old handmade sock monkey with a lace hat at an estate sale!  Hooray!

So Much Gratitude!

1.  time spent on the patio next to my memorial fairy rock garden — outstanding!

2.  gratitude to my patient husband who drove me all over town tonight — what a guy!

3.  Zentangle beginning lesson today — a Grandma and her granddaughter in matching Zentangle tennis shoes — fabulous!!

4.  Zentangle Club — making an exploding Zentangle box — way fun!

5.  dark red cherries — oh yes!

6.  counting point for Weight Watchers — then I know when to STOP!  lol

7.  my daughter-in-law, Dyan — what a remarkable woman!

8. watering the garden — love to visit!

9.  heaven blue morning glories — truly heavenly!

Lots of Thanks!

1.  our new Sonos speakers that produce extraordinary sound from my little iPhone!  Wow!

2.  finding two huge pots of neon red geraniums at 25% off

3.  a wren has built a nest in our hanging basket on our front steps – hooray!

4.  cherries!

5.  trying new cheeses — S.O.B. Chèvre (goat cheese wrapped in spices and olive oil) today!

6.  royal blue nail polish on my toes

7.  volunteering at the library bookstore

8.  a laughing session with retired Nuns — fabulous!

9.  teaching Zentangle to Margaret who is 97!  yippee yo yo YO!

10.  spending time with my grandsons this Summer — yahoo!

Especially bgratitude for all the amazing friends and family in my life!

Gardening Gratitudes

1.  finally got to the rest of my gardening after the new roof was put in — flying shingles would have ruined anything sooner!

2.  the deer got to my grandson’s circle garden, but it is recovering

3.  found the most wonderful pink petunias with green edges

4.  I have a fun pot that is a woman’s head — the flowers are the hair (sunpatiens and spikes) — wowee!

5.  This year I turned my fairy/gnome rock garden into a memorial garden in honor of my Dad and others.

6.  I have a giant pinwheel and a bunch of little ones in it, along with green plants and hot pink begonias!

7.  We have a bird’s nest in our hanging basket of purple petunias — the flowers are dying, but hopefully little birdies will emerge.

8.  Pink dotted coleus for the circle garden with the gazing ball.  Deer don’t like them, thank heavens!

9.  Black-eyed Susan vine hanging basket — gorgeous!

10.  my Blue Heaven morning glories are hanging in there after a tough beginning.

Thank you to every single flower in our garden!

Abundant Gratitude!

1.  family and friends are my #1 gratitude

2.  a car full of gas and a garage to put it in

3.  a big wonderful yard to garden in

4.  a playful kitchen full of great memories and good food

5.  closets full of clothes

6.  many shelving units full of art supplies

7.  Zentangle supplies galore

8.  thousands of sentimental photographs

A Summer’s Day in Spring!

1.  On Monday, I was at a Little League game in my Winter coat, wrapped in a blanker, with my hood up!

2.  Tonight I was at a Little League game in my short sleeved shirt, surrounded by people in shorts — over 80 degrees!!

3.  I even saw a man in a Hawaiian shirt tonight!  Hooray!

4.  Looking forward to getting my Hawaiian shirt collection up and ready!

5.  Took a lovely walk today.

6.  I am a big fan of buds — and they are everywhere!

7.  And the trees are misty green!

8.  Opened up the sun roof on my new Subarus – “Molly Also”

9.  Volunteering at the library in their used bookstore — fun!

10.  Celebrating the new beginning promises of Spring!

100% Grateful

1.  on any day, I have 2,024 things to be grateful for (at least)

2.  so on any day where there are problems, there are hardly ever more than a few things for which I might be ungrateful

3.  and often, those things that make me feel ungrateful teach me my biggest lessons

4. which makes me 100% grateful

5.  that I get to have a life!  — breathing, loving, playing and more!

6.  and I get wonderful family and friends — woweeeeee!

7.  being a G-Ma is the best job ever with two remarkable boys

8.  having a wonderful church — Unity Chapel of Light

9.  learning new things all the time

10.  feeling young sometimes, and old sometimes, but never one or the other completely!  I’ve got the best of both worlds!

So Thankful!
