  1. Sun: June 26:  Pleasant conversations with family, productive day at work, good meals, air conditioner working well, opportunity to go to bed early/\.
  2. Mon: June 27: Productive day at work, friendly help from co-workers, good meals, bed early.
  3. Tues June 28:  Early to meeting, friendly help from and conversation with co-workers, good meals, opportunity to prepare food for early morning baking session.
  4. Weds June 29: Early to work, friendly help from co-workers, good meals, baking session went well, learned the value of “help me!” prayer.
  5. Thurs June 30: Early to work, much help from co-workers, progress made at work, made it thru a tiring 10 hr day, bed early.
  6. Fri July 1: Good meditation this morning, early to work, lots of good help from co-workers, good physical therapy appt, productive shopping trip, opportunity for early to bed.
  7. Sat July 2: Well rested, good meals, productive shopping trip, interesting movie on you tube, progress at work, stretching and exercise.

Gratitudes June 19-25, 2016

  1. Sun June 19: Well rested, good meals, on time to meeting, found bargains at thrift store,
  2. Mon June 20: Early to work project, much help from boss and co-workers, productive day, helpful info online, bed early
  3. Tues June 21, Early to work, much help from co-workers, productive day, kindness of landlord, did my best to forgive myself for my mistakes.
  4. Weds June 22, Early to work, help from co-workers, productive day, good meals, bed early.
  5. Thurs June 23, friendly help from co-workers, well rested, good meals, productive errands, progress at work, opportunity to stretch and exercise.
  6. Fri June 24: friendly help from co-workers, pleasant conversation, inspiration to sing, good p.t. appt., productive shopping trip, good meals, bed early.
  7. Sat June 25: Relaxing day at home; ran productive errands, good meals, some progress at work, inspiring music, life is good.

Gratitudes June 12-18, 2016

  1. Sun June 12: Pleasant afternoon, good conversation with family, necessary errands completed, bed early.
  2. Mon June 13 Thank you God for helping me get thru this very busy day!
  3. Tues June 14 Thank you God for helping me get thru this 14 hr day
  4. Weds June 15 Another busy day and I’m grateful to have it behind me
  5. Thurs June 16 Very strenuous 10 hr day and I am grateful to have the help to get thru it.
  6. Fri June 17: Busy and productive day outside, much friendly help from co-workers, good chat with boss, realization about my projections upon him, good meals, good p.t. session, bed early.
  7. Sat June 18: well rested, productive shopping trip, helpful info on internet, good meals, beautiful sunny day, necessary household chores accomplished.

  1. Sun June 5: Pleasant walk to and from library, opportunity to give directions, productive session at library, good meals, conversation with friends.
  2. Mon June 6: Early to appointment, very busy and productive day at work, help from coworkers and boss, good PT appt, good meals, opportunity to rest early.
  3. Tues June 7: Baked tasty sweet potato oat bars, on time to appt., very busy and productive day at work, much help from co-workers and boss, bed early.
  4. Weds June 8: Well rested, early to work, very busy and productive day, much help from co-workers, good meals, bedroom air conditioner working well, bed early.
  5. Thurs June 9, Early to work, very busy and productive over the top day, help from co-workers, bed early.
  6. Fri June 10, Busy and productive day with much help from coworkers, good physical therapy appt., good meals, relaxing concert, bed early.
  7. Sat June 11, got up early, accomplished household chores and productive shopping trip, progress at work, pleasant conversation with friend, enjoyed the rain shower.

  2. Mon May 30: Good pilates class, helpful shopping trip, progress at work, stretching, opportunity to go to bed early.
  3. Tues May 31: Made it to first appointment on time, much progress at work, help from co-workers, good meals, good physical therapy appointment, productive shopping trip, opportunity to prepare some food to be baked in the morning (too hot now).
  4. Weds June 1: Made it early to meeting, progress at work, pleasant conversation with co-workers, good meals.
  5. Thurs June 2: Early to appointment, very productive day at work, good conversation with boss, help from co-workers, good meals, bed early.
  6. Fri June 3: Early to appointment, much help from co-workers, good physical therapy session, good meals, enjoyed air conditioning .
  7. Sat June 4: Good pilates class and productive shopping.  Helpful communications with boss, good meals, dietary guidance.

Gratitudes May 22-28, 2016

  1. Sun May 22: Pleasant day to attend meeting at Purchase, able to deal successfully with long drive back to Maryland.
  2. Mon May 23: Pleasant flights and conversations back to Reno, insight into family emotional dynamics, good reading in “Forgive to Live” book.
  3. Tues May 24: Ran errands, good session at physical therapy, good conversation with a friend, shopping expedition, good meals, bed early.
  4. Weds May 25: Early to work and appointment, productive day at work, insight into my emotional habits and patterns, good appointment with pilates coach, good meals, bed early.
  5. Thurs May 26: Early to work, productive day, pleasant chat with boss, insight into my attitudes towards him, good meals, helpful info on internet, opportunity to stretch and exercise back and shoulder.
  6. Fri May 27: Early to work and appointment, very productive day at work, helpful conversations with co-workers, good meals, opportunity to go to bed early.
  7. Sat May 28: Inspiring music from internet, fun email from cousin, good conversation with friend, received Forgive to Live workbook, productive shopping trip and errands, progress at work, stretching and exercise, opportunity to go to bed early.

May 14-21, 2016

  1. Sat May 14: Beautiful day, progress at work, productive shopping trip, pleasant music from internet, good meals, encouraging note from Crystal, feel life is good.
  2. Sun May 15: Sunny day, progress at work, pleasant conversations with family and friends, good music to listen to, insights into my issues.
  3. Mon May 16: Early to work, productive day at work, helpful conversation with co-workers, helpful info from doctor, inspiring music on internet, chance to stretch and go to bed early.
  4. Tues May 17: Productive day at work, ran needed errands, good conversation with friend, good meals, bed early
  5. Weds May 18: Productive day getting car repaired and ready for trip.
  6. Thurs May 19: Made it to bus to airport on time, good flights, gained insight into relationships with relatives and my own emotional dynamics.
  7. Fri May 20: Lovely day in Baltimore, visiting Inner Harbor submarine and the incredible Museum of Visionary Art (Ingo Swann paintings are out of this world!)
  8. Sat May 21: Enjoyed family reunion in New York state after long drive with relatives.  Made new friends and acquaintances.

Gratitudes May 7-13, 2016

  1. Sat May 7: Pleasant walks to and from work, productive shopping trip (bought a new blender!), good meals, progress at work, inspiring music on internet.
  2. Sun May 8: A lovely day to be outside, 73 degrees!  Walked to library and back, good talk this morning, good food, helpful ideas from reading.
  3. Mon May 9: Beautiful day, ate lunch outside! Progress at work, and the opportunity to get to bed early.
  4. Tues May 10: Enjoyed lunch outside in the sunshine, busy and productive day at work, inspiring music and useful information from internet, bed early
  5. Weds May 11: Early and productive day at work, made all appointments, ate well, good meetings with co-workers, opportunity for going to bed early.
  6. Thurs May 12: Insight into my issues, better digestion of fats, made progress at work, pleasant conversations with co-workers.
  7. Fri May 13: Pleasant walk home from work, ate lunch outside (up to 83 today), progress at work, pleasant conversations with co-workers, was able to do some reading/research for career planning, able to find some hope rather than staying mired in frustration, lovely concert tonight.

 

Gratitudes April 30 – May 6, 2016

  1. Sat Apr 30: Good exercise class, productive shopping trip, progress at work, appreciated help of co-worker, good meals, phone conversation with family and friend.
  2. Sun May 1: Good walks today in sunny weather, pleasant phone visit with family, was able to complete food prep for tomorrow while listening to seminars on internet.  Pleasant day.
  3. Mon May 2: Good walks, progress at work, pleasant chat with the boss, friendly help from co-workers, inspiring interview with Andrew Kimbrell on internet, good meals.
  4. Tues May 3: Good walks, progress at work, good meals, opportunity for stretching and exercise.
  5. Weds May 4: Walked to and from work today, progress at work, enjoyed poster session, friendly conversations with boss and co-workers.
  6. Thur May 5:  Helpful meetings at work, much progress made, pleasant conversation with boss, good meals, saw an old issue resurface about setting boundaries.
  7. Fri May 6: Inspiring words from Vandana Shiva on the Food Revolution Summit, progress at work, help from co-workers, good meals.

Gratitudes April 23-29 2016

  1. Sat April 23: Lovely sunny day after yesterday’s rain, progress at work, helpful health info in book and on internet, ate well, thankful for info received and recovering my enthusiasm.
  2. Sun Apr 24: Pleasant walk to post office, productive time in career exploration, pleasant conversation with friends and family, was able to give some advice to friend in need, good meals.
  3. Mon Apr 25: Helpful conversations with co-workers, and exciting to be able to share some helpful info with a friend in chemo, and learning not to automatically worry/catastrophize but to stay on the sunny side of the street mentally.
  4. Tues Apr 26: 2 good walks (to work and back), progress at work, good meals, helpful conversations with coworkers, opportunity to help a friend, was able to get in some exercise and stretching.
  5. Weds Apr 27: 2 good walks to work and home, work progress, opportunity to help one of my students, a baking project completed at home, good meals, interesting info on internet, good music.
  6. Thurs Apr 28: Good walks to and from work, progress at work, opportunity to be of service by sharing needed info with coworker and friend, good meals, opportunity to stretch.
  7. Fri Apr 29: Grateful for info from Rebecca, happy to give ride to Jason and Travis, progress at work, enjoyed working with Tim and Thomas, good meals, landlord fixed light switch, made appointment, opportunity to get to bed early.
