  2. uneventful  Dr.’s appointments
  3. cooler temp. today and AC when it isn’t so cool
  4. nice lunch out with my hubby
  5. texting with my daughter, just because
  6. a  mouth-watering cone of orange sherbet
  7. having everything I need and more than I want
  8. my beautiful family
  9. moments to stop, relax and just breathe
  10. the gift of another day

Sunday Grace- 7/31/22

Gratitude
  1. a relaxing day with the hubby
  2. a nice visit from our son
  3. strawberry cheesecake with no worries about calories
  4. time today to sit and write with my favorite pen
  5. life, it’s one of the greatest gifts we have
  6. our family the love, respect and care that we share
  7. another beautiful and blessed day

When The Sun Shines on Saturday

Gratitude
  1. making the peace especially when you feel it isn’t warranted
  2. quiet, productive conversations
  3. sunshine, blue skies and a temp that is cool enough to enjoy them
  4. a renewed commitment to visit this site. I am grateful daily and  have written in a gratitude journal daily for years but I find it too easy to postpone the things that bring me joy sometimes, including visiting this site on a regular basis. It’s time to correct that.
  5. the sweetest text messages from those I love and those who love me. I am so grateful they take the time to pop in just say “Hi, I love you”
  6. my hubby, for knowing me better than I know myself sometimes,  grounds me and loves me even in spite of myself some days. He’s the best!
  7. consistency
  8. the ability to remain true to myself in any situation, around anybody
  9. family, God knew what HE was doing
  10. ice cold lemonade on a warm summer’s day
  11. this day, it will never be again

Musings on a Sunday Morning

Gratitude
  1. waking up this morning, somewhere somebody didn’t
  2. a perfect cup of coffee
  3. recognizing and appreciating love when so many things happen in the world that suggest that it doesn’t exist
  4. lessons learned and the understanding that follows
  5. peace and patience with myself and others
  6. new ideas, no matter how overwhelming they may feel at first
  7. hot, humid summer days that make me wish for Fall
  8. a whispered “I  love you” followed by the sweetest forehead kisses
  9. the gift of each new day

  2. enjoying a short walk before the stifling heat came
  3. AC, my heart goes out to anyone that doesn’t have it
  4. the myriad of blessings that constantly flow my way
  5. celebrated my 34th wedding anniversary yesterday, how blessed we are
  6. God’s amazing grace and mercy toward my family and me…when they are good, I’m good
  7. friends that feel like family
  8. a tall glass of ice cold lemonade on a hot day there is nothing better
