Grateful For We

49th Anniversary was a wild weekend of music and magic.

Today I’m tired. Had a little weepy time after I talked to my grand daughter.

My emotions range from high to low but I wouldn’t change a thing.

Family. (Pictures to post and share)

Friends ( Amazing how many care)

Hubby (A good sport! How many football fields did we cross?)

One of the days had rain and storms. One had sunshine so intense as to send us scurrying.

A lot like the 49 years! All kinds of weather travelling together. Side by side!

Life’s Pace

Saying stop! Just taking a minute to breathe.

Yesterday was busy, meaning I did four or five things.

Morning was cleaning for a friend. Always glad to make a little money and help her out too.

Afternoon recharge time then dressing to go see a friend sing at Friday music on the mall.

Another friend calls and we decide to go together. Shelby sang a song about rain and the raindrops started.

Meeting on our porch and catching up. Hug then goodbye!

Rockne’s for delayed Anniversary meal. Delicious as usual. Mmm! Lobster bisque!

Watching the rain and checking in on people. Son home safe from Blossom Music Center.

Flooding and power outages but not us.

Strange dream probably brought on by thunder and images of Maui.

Grateful for my bed next to my man.

Making A Good Thursday

49th Anniversary!  Not gold but able to make it shimmery special.

Greetings on Facebook from friends and family. A phone call!

News that car repair is a simple fix is best news of the day!

Ice cream cake? No room in freezer so cookies. Tis a gift to be simple!

Hamburgers for supper. Sounds delightful!

Joyful just to be together doing Thursday things.

Fruitful

Grateful for safe travels yesterday. People were amazed we came all the way from Ohio to host their event.

Good company. Good friends never run out of things to talk about.

The abundance of food we brought including six types of fruit. The sublime lemon bars.

Just imagine the National Park the speaker chose to highlight was Cuyahoga Valley.

I told them of watching sunsets there and how it was spiritual.

My fried who drove was hiding her birthday but we serenaded her with the Beatles birthday song.

She had never heard it before and she’ll never hear it quite like we sang it to her.

Fruit left over. I had some for breakfast. Yesterday spills into today. My cup runneth over!

I am truly grateful for the remarkable individuals who have extended their support when everyone else seemed to be making excuses.

First and foremost, I am immensely grateful for my friend who played a pivotal role in helping me secure my current job. Through their guidance, support, and perhaps a well-placed word, they opened doors for me that I may not have been able to access on my own. Their belief in my abilities and their willingness to lend a helping hand when I needed it most is something I will forever cherish.

Similarly, I owe a debt of gratitude to another friend who assisted me in obtaining my previous job. Their unwavering support and advocacy allowed me to showcase my skills and qualifications, leading to a rewarding professional opportunity. Without their intervention, I might have missed out on a chance to grow and prosper in my career.

Reflecting on the past, I am reminded of the friend who helped me find a rented apartment four years ago. During a time of uncertainty and upheaval, their assistance provided me with a stable living arrangement and peace of mind. Their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond made a significant difference in my life.

Furthermore, I am deeply grateful for the friends who stood by my side during my eye surgery. Their presence, encouragement, and assistance throughout the entire process were invaluable. Their unwavering support bolstered my spirits and gave me the strength to face the challenges associated with the procedure. Their friendship and selflessness will forever be etched in my heart.

No expression of gratitude would be complete without acknowledging the unwavering support of my parents. Through thick and thin, they have been my unwavering pillars of strength. Even during times when I was consumed by my own egoic delusions and lost sight of what truly mattered, they stood by me, offering love, guidance, and a gentle reminder of the person I aspire to be. Their unconditional love and steadfast support have been a constant source of inspiration and motivation.

Last but certainly not least, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to my uncle. Despite the passing of time, our unique friendship has remained alive and thriving. His presence in my life has been a source of wisdom, laughter, and unwavering support. Through his enduring companionship, he has taught me the value of lasting connections and the beauty of nurturing relationships over the years

Rainy Day

Sunshine in the morning leads to drizzle then steady rain. Peaceful rain but I have errands!

Glad to be home. I was cautious as I wasn’t in a hurry.

Fruit to prepare and take on an outing tomorrow. Glad the rain is today.

Looking forward to being with friends. We will have fun!

Each of us has a part of the body we favor. If the guys from Iwoa Jima can hold up the flag we can do this!
