What I Am Excited About Today: Spending time with my people.

What Would Make Today Amazing: Sunshine. The sunshine that has peeked through the clouds the past few days has been a boost to my energy. To have some today, even with the winter weather, would be amazing.

How Can I Set Myself Up For Success Today: Keep doing what I do. Stay true to Who I Am and What I Do. Keep being present throughout my day as best as I can for my people and even myself.Β

I Am Currently Feeling: Tired, stressed, worried

What I Am Excited About Today: The sunshine making an appearance yesterday and also again today even though it was supposed to be cloudy all day. That sunshine really helps feed my mental health and energy.

What Would Make Today Amazing: That hubby’s MRI and MD appointment both go well and that we will continue on his healing path at the slow and steady pace we’ve been going since his left shoulder surgery in 2021.

How Can I Set Myself Up For Success Today: Breathe. Meditate. Read. Relax. Be present as much as possible throughoutΒ  my day.

I Am Currently Feeling: Sore, tired, grateful,Β 

I Am Grateful For: Feeling appreciated – the Front Desk Personnel at one of the facilities I was at today had noticed and admired my hair color last week. I told her the brand and the color name. Today she was rockin’ the color! It looked fantastic on her!

The Best Part Of My Day Was: Aside from the hair color awesomeness – when visiting with my second patient today, I asked family for permissionΒ  to provide some energy work and they were happy to allow me to do so. It is the first time I have done Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch Therapy and Reiki Energy with family present in the room. And I was not as nervous doing so as I thought I might be.

What Can I Learn From Today’s Experience(s): Ask. Always ask. You never know what the answer will be.

A Positive Thought To Carry Me To Sleep: I truly did make a difference today & that makes me feel so amazing inside & out.

What I Am Excited About Today: Seeing my people today. My Friday people are always a wacky group and make me laugh a good parat of my day.

What Would Make Today Amazing: Sunshine. After a mostly cloudy week some sunshine would be welcome.

How Can I Set Myself Up For Success Today: Be as present as possible throughout my day.

I Am Grateful For: My people who truly appreciate me and what I do for them.Β 

The Best Part Of My Day Was: The caregiver for my first patient had homemade food today to share with the volunteer and I that come every Friday; and it was absolutely delicious! Meatloaf, sweet potatoes and mac & cheese. A wonderful lunch indeed!

What Can I Learn From Today’s Experience(s): I should keep some inexpensive food containers in my vehicle! LOL

I Am Currently Feeling: Drained

What I Am Excited About Today: My first person for today was happy to see me Tuesday, I’m hoping she’ll be the same today too. Also, for the past 3 weeks, one of my other people has been without a charging cord for her iPhone & hubby found one of the ones from when our boys had iPhones so I’m bringing it with today in case she still needs one.Β 

What Would Make Today Amazing: That any of the fluffy rain that is being talked about as a possibility today does not happen.

How Can I Set Myself Up For Success Today: Regardless of how I physically feel, be as present as possible throughout my day.

I Am Grateful For: Today going well over-all. Left early this AM & made it home at a decent time.

The Best Part Of My Day Was: How much my first person appreciated me today as did her son & daughter. That is exactly why I do what I do & love every minute of it! Also, that any fluffy stuff did indeed not happen during the day.

What Can I Learn From Today’s Experience(s): Always be present & paying attention.
