These words from Sarah Morgan Bryan Piatt: “It is the summer’s great last heat, / It is the fall’s first chill: they meet.”
You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don’t try to forget the mistakes, but you don’t dwell on it. You don’t let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space. ~Johnny Cash

  1. Wow, Helen, we had a discussion several days ago about not dwelling on past challenges but moving forward to goodness and great opportunities. Thanks for another interesting list! Blessings, Jean

  2. Thank you, Jean, for the word picture of moving forward! It is inevitable to look back to the past but it helps me to glance only and not stare. When I succomb to staring, I need others to help turn me around!
Blessings right back to you too! helen
