gold watches & helicopters

  • Privileged to attend our son-in-law’s official honorary luncheon for his 38 yrs. of aviation service.
  • There were enlisted men and women..officers..Generals..Commanders
  • Men and women new to the service…
  • …and his mentors (mostly with grey hair) :)
  • Memorable stories to tell
  • Feeling so safe with all of the people in their military uniforms…
  • …and appreciating those who will be deploying to the MidEast on Saturday.
  • Acknowledgement for our daughter and gsons who were a family team to assist in making his career possible
  • Certainly you’ve heard that some retirees received gold watches…our sil was presented with a shelf-displaying awesome helicopter crafted from helicopter/airplane parts.
  • Among other gifts, he was presented with a huge, huge metal plaque that in all of its significance  surely will be placed on a wall in his man cave! :)
