Calling Ruth to see if she’s okay with all of this…and she was taking it so well, even talked homeschooling with me nonchalantly, like she hadn’t become a celebrity :)
I wasn’t sure I’d be able to do the video on my own- I really wanted it with Ruth’s expression inside the frame, and I had no idea how to figure it out. Like a true homeschooler, I worked at it until I got it! I’m so glad it turned out! But also hugely grateful that a new friend Deb offered to do the video also- I was thisclose to taking her up on it!
Hearing stories throughout the day of people who were so touched by Ruth’s story
Checking in with myself and re-aligning when I felt my motives and emotions slip from happy and grateful to selfish and egoic
The opportunity to practice that on a bigger scale with more tempting ego buttons

I am still taking in all that happened that day! Thank you so much for all the time, energy and love you put into making it happen! It’s taken me a while to be able to comprehend all that has happened, and I’m not sure I have accomplished that yet, but the good feelings persist, and I am so grateful to you and to everyone who danced or wished they were there to dance!
