- Realizing it’s time to let go of all of the things I’ve been “saving for a rainy day” and haven’t needed for the past thirteen days of rain. Haha!
- The wonderful news that two of my friends are cancer free!! Both have been so supportive to me. They’ve shared their personal experiences, let me vent and are always there with advice, hugs, and humor to brighten the day
- Catching up at a special dinner with an old friend. Our age difference is my age backwards plus ten :)
- The way a shower can wake you up or help you to sleep
- Anxiously awaiting one of my best friends’ wedding tomorrow!
- …and then looking forward to celebrating my mom’s birthday Saturday!!
- Whipping up a delicious dessert (Blackberry shortcakes)- for a suprise guest- in twenty minutes -with just three indregients. Take that Rachel Ray
- Learning about a culture very different from your own and seeing the similarities
- Spreading positive gossip about someone “Yeah, he’s a really hard worker…Very team orientated with a lot of drive” and hearing it back from the right people “I’ve heard he’s very driven…”
- Bluetooth, the best feature of my (fun, sexy, cool, lovely) new car. I often call my mom on the drive home. Now I can do it more safely without looking down to dial or driving one handed!
Wishing you a flood of happiness that washes over everything around you
Great list, Pooh! So happy for your cancer-free friends!!!! Wonderful! Can’t wait to hear about your wonderful dinner, and so happy that you were able to reconnect with each other because of “Dance for Ruth!” Awesome! Hoping that flood of happiness washes over everything around you, too!
Yay! Kylia, you’re an awesome writer. Hooray for cancer-free! And you go, chef Kylia!!
