2. Air conditioning, in the midst of relentless heat

3. Cats, I learned, are relatively good at regulating their temperature.  I hadn’t seen Pegasus all day, but he knew to show up around dinner time.  Must have found a cool spot unknown to me.

4. Tibbs greets us when we drive up, coming out of the bushes yowling.  He likes to get in the car or sit on top of it.

5. Michel and Bill having us over.

6. Cassie giving Bill a book for his 60th birthday relating to architecture

7. Michel saying he likes to watch Downton Abbey not so much for the story but he love the furniture and costumes.  :)

8. Sprinklers and hoses and water pots.

9. A zucchini a foot long and half a foot thick.  David asked for zucchini muffins.  Maybe when it gets cooler.

10. Point around dusk where the air cools off and the heat isn’t so intense, great to sit outside, stirring up good memories.
