Taking a watercolor class with my friend Kim. Always wanted to do that and finally decided I was worth it! Really enjoying the class, time spent with friends, and time for me.
And surprisingly not feeling any guilt about the money or time spent away from home.
Being able to take a vacation day from work to spend some time with my daughter before she starts her next semester at college. Looking forward to our Tuesday!
Looking out the window and seeing my beautiful, colorful garden. I look out the window at the pinks, purples and reds and just smile. And it’s freshly weeded!
Discovering a tiny (about 3/4″), lime green frog perched on the leaf of my rose bush, just hangin’ out. I rushed in to try and identify it using the internet, but no luck. You’d be amazed what comes up when you google “tiny irridescent green frog”.
Realizing that the japanese beetles are slowing down.
Looking out the window while I’m writing this list and seeing the hummingbird I’ve been looking for all summer! Last year he was around all the time, but this year I’ve only seem him one other time.
Having a Sunday that’s not overcast and rainy so I can dry my clothes on the line. It makes me happy to look out and see them swaying in the breeze.
Having a lead on another part time job.
Grateful to Ruth and Kylia for showing me this journal.
