“To speak gratitude is courteous and pleasant, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live gratitude is to touch Heaven.” ~Johannes A. Gaertner
Wonderful list, Helen and I love the quote at the end. But what’s wrong with the Stanford band (not that I have any particular connection with Leland et al)
Hey Garrett….this is just me being an old cranky-guss but I thought the Stanford band’s casual, irreverent presence in the Rose Parade was disrespectful, especially since other bands took the parade seriously and others have to be on a waiting list to be included in the Parade and Stanford gets to be in the parade based on the football team berth to the Rose Bowl.
Again, just me being cranky… :)
God’s password which never changes!!! Hooray! And thanks for the quote which is now in my collection. Happy New Year dear Jean!
Dear Helen!!! not Jean, oooops! Should have realized since you are my quote person!
I will answer to “Jean” any day! Thanks, Carol!!!
