Make mine coconut cream pie with a sloppy joe , potato salad and watermelon

The Ice Cream Social was a success.

I wasn’t in charge so could just sit back and enjoy it.

Perfect weather.(No mosquitoes!)

Great food. Pie, Sundaes, Floats. Hot Dogs. Sloppy Joes etc.

Willing workers.  Hubby cooked pack after pack of hot dogs.

The bouncy house was a hit. I made boo boo bags of ice but we didn’t need them.

Miles of smiles! Seeing old  friends and new friends too!

The exhaustion that comes with successful completion.

Thank you God for June 23, 2015!

— reading Wind in the Willows, so delightful!

— a girl’s night out with Rose, Kathy, and Linda

— great food, out on the patio of a really fun restaurant (of course, anywhere we are is really fun!)

— grandsons’ baseball games, amazed at the unconscious courage involved

— getting ready for our 50th High School Reunion – if it’s half as fun as being on the reunion committee, it will be a blast!

I have been asking people across the country to donate books, religious items, rosaries, prayer cards, etc. so that we can give them away to the visitors at our booth. Within half an hour, I received my first reply back and they are happy to be donating to our booth! God sure delivers!
