Monthly Archives: August 2015

Thank you God for August 18, 2015!

  1. The lion’s mane mushroom chicken soup my mother made!
  2. More corn, oyster mushrooms, zucchini, and cucumbers from the farmers market!
  3. Made pan-fried cod and potato cakes to make use of the leftover mashed potatoes I had!
  4. Being alive and having a great doctor who responds to my emails and cares for my heart and my body; when I am concerned and what I am concerned about.

Things are looking up

Meteors in August is one of my favorite times.

Our anniversary is August 10, Every year we have gone out. No matter if we are happy or hanging in there.A  tradition for Forty One years!

Congenial companions this year, Hubby actually was raring to go! 10th was cloudy,11th was rain so 12th was predicted peak so off we went. We saw 7 or 8.Tried on Thursday but just a few.

My back kinked up from looking up but rest and ibuprofen are keeping me vertical.

Construction on house is quiet! (Thank God! I hated the noise!) They will be back to replace two windows and a door.

We have paid for most of the work. Somehow we will pay it off. Glad it is done!

I found just the decoration I wanted for back landing!

I still do a double take when I see it!

Anxiety over too much and too many and too little has let up!

Tonight is music in the Cuyahoga Valley. High hopes for high notes!

Thank you God for August 17, 2015!

  1. I had an incredible day today! Blessings after blessings!
  2. All day, the sky was dark and looked like it was going to rain. Thankfully, the weather was dry and warm the whole time I was out to go to the hospital for blood/urine tests. The rain didn’t arrive until hours after I was safely at home and indoor! Thank you God for always looking out for me!
  3. Sold 3 items on eBay today! Yay!
  4. Received an unexpected check in the mail!
  5. Last Friday, God told me to pray that everything will go smoothly when I picked up the catering for the party the next day. So I prayed. I found out later on why He wanted me to pray, and today the problem was resolved! Thank you God for making everything right and fixing everything!
  6. Fried okra, fried green tomatoes, fried shrimp, and buttered corn for dinner!
  7. Got my blood test and urinalysis results  from my doctor already and it has never been better! Thank you so much, God, for healing me, for letting my body produce clear urine, and for allowing me to consume foods with sodium!
