Very Grateful for:
God’s labors
A labor day away
the medicine prescribed for Dad is working
time to visit Amelia
…and see the playful deer in the park by her place
the deer keep playing and living surrounded by hospital, commerce, and neighborhoods
adaptability
lots of sleep
and reruns of “Night Court” on Amazon (does anyone remember that show?)
laughter
long walks through quiet Colonial Williamsburg
hearing Amelia humming in the kitchen
The hardness of a diamond is part of its usefulness, but its true value is in the light that shines through it. ~B.K.S. Iyengar
Loved Night Court not on Netflix :(
I was going to ask who is God and it took me back to catechism class. I can still rattle off the answer BUT who is God. I typed dog instead of God. Is it a sign?
Oh MaryEllen~ you found my typo!! All these nights of very little sleep + a missed annual eye exam have left me in the quagmire of typos!!! You typed dog instead of God and I typed God instead of Dad! It may indeed, be a sign!
Helen :)
I’m missing sleep and not firing on all cylinders. A dog named God would be funny wouldn’t it?
I remember Night Court too. Glad to read of both your Dad and Amelia
Thank you, Garrett… Dad has taken a turn downward so I am praying for his healing.
Hope by now your Dad is feeling better. I’m sending you strength .
Thank you so much, Mary Ellen… I will read your kind thoughts to Dad!
