Sounds like a name of a character in a Harry Potter book (which I love by the way) but actually means utterly ridiculous. I am grateful for these moments because they give me perspective.
Grateful for the reminder that if I go faster-I go slower. Feeling time pressed I went to do laundry only to transfer one load to another washer. Deep breath enjoy your extra 45 minutes there and know that load is really clean!
Hubby looking for anti-itch cream wakes me up so I am grateful to be up early. He fell right back to sleep.
I told the man next to me at choir that I have trouble hearing out of my left ear. Not only did he sing very loudly during the hymn. He took my arm coming off the altar. Grateful for my sense of humor.
Realizing I left my folder at home I left service to race home. Sermon was still in progress. I picked up his read along and read along till I caught up with him. Grateful I didn’t get a speeding ticket!
Told the financial secretary I had two questions for her about retreat. She said only two I would have expected ten. Grateful only two but what am I missing?
Grateful to be packing. I have covered all the bins with towels because cats get nervous when they see you packing. Grateful we aren’t expecting company!
Door blew open during the storm and Catalina ,an inside cat, was no where to be found. I went out in the rain to search for her but like the Cheshire cat she later reappeared. Grateful she wasn’t outside.
Search for the ridiculous and give thanks for it!
Hi Mary Ellen
Sounds like you have all your ducks in a row, ready for the retreat. It will be a welcome weekend for you. Blessings and lots of insight. Love rose
Hope I’m not too tired to enjoy it
