February- It goes so fast!

I reread Our town by Thorton Wilder as my under 100 page selection for my Reading Challenge.

In Emily’s words upon returning to life for a glimpse.

I can’t! I can’t go on! It goes so fast! We don’t have time to look at each other! I didn’t realize. So all that was going on and we never noticed. Take me back up the hill to my grave but,  Wait, one last look.Goodbye ,goodbye world, goodbye Grover’s corners. Mama Papa. Goodbye to clocks ticking… and Mama’s sunflowers. And food and coffee. And freshly pressed dresses and hot baths and sleeping and waking up.Oh Earth you are too wonderful for anybody to realize you. Does any human being ever realize life while they live it-every,every minute!

Saints and poets ,the stage manager answers. Maybe those who look through the eyes of gratitude do.

Grateful for hubby noises downstairs. His chuckles as he reads an email on the laptop, his delight at greeting the dog.

The cats romp through the house.

My excitement at Groundhog’s Day !

My house with my treasures given from people I cherish.

Flipping the calendar,

Snow shouldn’t be a problem this morning.

Grateful for it all and all.
