I get to go to church this morning.

God.

A roof over my head on this rainy day.

My son and my family.

My pets.

The 12 steps of A.A.

Good coffee in a cute mug my step-daughter gave me.

Technology.

Good music.

That even though we have had more rain lately, the chances of fires are lessoned.

I got to sleep in a little.

My son has a interview for a different job, praying he gets it, but if he doesn’t he still has a job to fall back on.

The sound of my dog and cat chasing around the house.

The quiet of the morning.

A.A. the wonderful people in it.

My son.

My pets.

A not so great weather day, as I can get thing done around the house.

A portal with which to post my gratitude lists. :)

God.

Sobriety.

That I no longer need to wake up and have a cigarette first thing.

Good books to read.

That although I wake up with aches and pains, at least I can feel them…….I am alive!

My adorable pets.

That I am learning about myself, even at 51 years of age.

Peace.

Grateful for

Energy for busy days.

Solutions.

Plan B.

Crystal’s post on Creative Spiritual Women. I froze when asked the question. Grateful others were eloquent.

Casual meeting where all questions were answered.

Singing twice this weekend at Church. Two practices right before service.

One hymn is so beautiful. Anthems of Love.

Church member is turning 100. Coffee hour for her.

Game for tea is on paper.

Lord be with me today. It’s You and me all the way!

Today……

I am grateful for life.

A roof over my head.

A job.

Sobriety.

Good support systems.

My family and pets.

The rain, even though we may not have wanted it, we definitely needed it.

Good coffee to wake up to for when I do not sleep good some nights.

That I lost a little more weight.

Feeling encouraged

Panning a simple tea at Church. Yes all are welcome!

Believing that the ideas I have will work.

Grateful for the ideas that are coming to me.

Getting excited as I visualize different things.

Name that hymn,Christian Scattergories and a photo booth.

Encouraging others to my vision. God bless them when they agree to help.

Encouragement in general . Studying Barnabas in Bible Study and finding him to be an encourager.

Am I a Barnabas? Who is a Barnabas to me?

I see it clearly in the simplicity of a tea.

BABY STEPS

Grateful for songs that bring me healing.   This song would comfort me and also turn me to tears after my husband committed suicide back in September 2014.  Now I can listen to it and  am grateful for songs like this as they are cathartic in away.

Grateful….

Being able to sit at my dining room table and enjoy my coffee and oatmeal and the quiet.

Waking up another day sober and nicotine free.

God.

A.A. and church.

My family and friends.

Peace when it let my mind slow down.

Prayer and Meditation.

A cool breeze outside.

Good music.
