- Grateful for health insurance after this week of X-Rays, Cortisone shot in my knee, MRI on knee and hip, injection in my hip.
- Looking towards a future of good mobility again. I just have to be patient.
- Grateful that my health issues are not worse. Many more people in more pain and have worse health issues.
- God.
- Good friends from church inviting me and my son for Easter dinner on Sunday.
- Wonderful coworkers who worked it so I could leave early a couple times this week to make my doctor appointments.
- Being able to join my family and see my grandson at his 6th birthday. :)
- Laughter, it really is the best medicine.
- A day off to rest my body.
- Being sober during my knee and hip issues. :) Thanks to God, A.A. and all the people who helped me along the way.
- My mom, may she RIP, would have been 45 years sober yesterday had she lived. Her last great gift before she died almost 30 years ago was to get me on the path to sobriety. :) <3
- The snow, although not crazy about it at this time of year, is pretty. :)
- Good food this past week.
- My son. I love him to pieces.
- A good Ortho doc to take care of me.
What would we do without insurance? Hope your ortho doctor gets you back on your feet. Keep laughing. I’m humbled that you remember your mother for her selflessness.

Karen: You are such a good example to stay focused on the positives: insurance, good doctors, medicine, your mom’s example… and so much more. It is easy to get snarled in the negative – sending gentle, caring hugs to you for strong and more flexible knees!
