Evening at the park

Taking a walk with my chosen sister Barb to soothe my soul and order my thoughts.

Steph comes with me to unwind after a day of work. She heads to the lake. We head down the trail.

First sprinkles then a deluge of rain washed away our concerns and changed our priorities.

The shelter  that provides shelter. No point running I am soaked.

Stress changes to lightheartedness.

Completing our walk and completing  our talk. Thunder announces it’s time to go home.

Our clothes are wet but are spirits are not dampened.

The wonder of the sunset. The night falls. No rain next city over. It was a cleansing.
