I get very excited about the Perseid meteor showers.

For years part of our anniversary time is to make a trek to the sledding hill and hope for a streak of light.

Tonight and tomorrow are the peak nights. They  say 50 an hour. I’ll be content with 5.

So many anniversary greetings. One that meant a lot was personal. I try to  make my greetings on Facebook personal. We all need a hug in writing!

Daughter took us out to eat last night. What a nice gesture! New to us place. Good food. Good company.

Gdaughter bought us a little rose bush in a pot. Everything’s coming up roses.

The eternal optimist and the absolute realist have celebrated another milestone in their togetherness and things are looking up!
