Labor Day

A day off and ironically a day to get things done.(Hubby is washing and I am spraying for fleas.)

Not grateful for fleas but grateful to have found them when their numbers are few.

Help from cashier at pet store. I now understand a little about why flea oil works.

Watching the pontoon boats and jet skis on the lake where my sister resides. Two kayaks glide through the water. Ducks and geese better scurry.

We salute those who labor and who have made our workplace safe and fair.

The official end of Summer. Many will go to picnics or go for a last Summer outing. Grateful for a good Summer.

When pastor asked the children at the children’s sermon “what is tomorrow?’ one piped up Monday. But it is not just any Monday, it is a time to reflect and celebrate and be grateful.

  1. Yep, the end of summer is upon us. It went fast. I suffered more this summer with the humidity. Glad that Fall is on its way. I wish it lasted longer than Winter though. ;)
