Listening

Hubby went to get air in tires. Strange to wake up and not be able to find him. I’m listening for the front door to open.

We are warm. I listen to the furnace and I’m grateful our furnace repair was in the Fall.

Hoping someone will  help him as he is stuck. I hope he will accept help. I jump whenever the phone rings.

I’m glad he called to say why he was late. I’m frustrated that he called because now I’m nervous. I’m sending him good vibes . I hope he is listening.

Plans starting for a wedding next year. Grand daughter. Hope she will listen.

Neighborhood is quiet. Even snow blowers are silent.

Was that car door? I will be grateful to hear him.

  1. He was safe but perhaps a moment to imagine otherwise can help me forgive him for tromping out in the snow this morning. Winter makes us cold!
