  • Waking up another day. Thank you God. :)
  • Sobriety and not smoking cigarettes another day.
  • God.
  • My job and a roof over my head.
  • A working furnace on these below zero days.
  • Watching something on Netflix that I can learn from.
  • A 7 day stretch at work is finished.
  • My pets and my son.
  • My family and friends.
  • Being able to pray for people who are struggling but also giving thanksgiving for people who have come through hard times.
  • My Bible study group.
  • Waking up and being able to listen to my Bible app, YouVersion.  Technology can be a wonderful thing.
  • Life.  Hey, I get to live another day.  Some are not so lucky.
  • That after hearing of a gal whose husband committed suicide at work, I may be able to be of support to her when she comes back.  God will help me with that, I am sure.  Grateful when I can be of assistance, even in the worst of times.

  • Good music of all kinds.
  • Peace.

About Karen Teig

I am a 58 year old Native Minnesotan. I work as a Storekeeper at a local hospital here in town. I have been sober since April 18, 1982 and have not smoked since September 8, 2005. I am a Born Again Christian who loves Jesus and am grateful for each day I wake up. Life is really what I make of it, with few exceptions. God always has a plan.
