Today

  1. Grateful for people on this site that are forgiving when I am behind on comments.  I will be better.
  2. I have a roof over my head during this recent weather.  I feel so bad for those who are on the streets.
  3. A good job to go to, even when it wipes me out physically somedays.
  4. God….always God.
  5. Waking up sober and nicotine free another day.
  6. My son.  He is gearing up to start looking for an apartment once he gets his tax returns back.  I will miss him but know it is long overdue.  He is starting his life on his own without student loans, however.  Grateful for that.
  7. My pets.  They get into stuff and drive me crazy but then I love them to pieces. They are family.  No way around it and I would not have it any other way.
  8. The buses still ran during the heart of the snow storm this week.  It took almost 40 minutes longer to get home one day, however, I was on a warm bus with a good driver.
  9. We broke the record for February snow fall. I am grateful we are not Tucson, Arizona, however, and getting around 35 inches on one day if I heard correctly.  Reminded me of our mega storm of 1991.
  10. Family, friends, love.

  1. I always pray for the homeless. I felt bad that Las Angeles got snow. You are handling your son moving well. I was so sad when my last moved out.
No record setting snow here but my grandson in Las Vegas got a snow day!
