April 7, 2020 Tuesday

  1. God is in my life and taking care of me.
  2. My health.  Aches and pains aside, I have it pretty good.
  3. My son.  He came up to do laundry one day and we stayed 6 feet apart, except when I let him in the house.  It felt weird not to hug goodbye and play cribbage from across the room online, instead of next to each other at the dining room table.
  4. My brothers and sister-in-law.  I am so very grateful for them.  We usually are celebrating their birthdays together in March and April but now it might have to be put off till July or later.  At least I know they are still around.
  5. Video Bible Study with my lady friends on Messenger.  We have not been face to face since March 11.  Grateful for technology we have today so we can stay in touch all at once.
  6. I have not been able to go to face to face A.A. meetings and I was just getting back to them when things heated up as far as the isolating.  I know there are online meetings I can go to.  Grateful for that.
  7. Nice weather off and on.
  8. My cat.  He is such good company.
  9. My pastor does Sunday service on our Facebook site and the church site and youtube.  Grateful to have that.  Also our church is doing music on Spotify and online, along with pastor touching base with us three times a week online.  Again, technology is such a wonderful thing.
  10. I am alive, healthy, sober and nicotine free another day.
  11. Last, but not least, all the people on the front lines of COVID-19.  God, please take care of them.  Grateful for all of them.
