Technicolor

The Christmas season has provided a much needed diversion from a black and white life.

Grateful for the decorations in my house and as we travel. The colors seem unusually vibrant.

So peaceful to see the areas I’ve decorated. The lights light me up!

I’m taking a snowman to sick neighbor. Sharing the joy! Pretty sure she has COVID. Prayers!

I love the music of Christmas! I put it on to do different things. So much variety.

Wrapping a dozen presents for my “adopted” family at Church. Pretty paper. I imagine the sparkle in their eyes. Privileged to be able to give.

Watching a Christmas special I watched with my children . Could it have been 40 years ago?

A walk with my friend Dennis in the rain. Five deer are watching us. Two trees in the woods with decorations. A different kind of beauty from Fall but still lovely.

Christmas is life in technicolor!

  1. All the colors do invigorate and give energy. I love the tree and every year leave it up till New Years…… but I figure Thanksgiving to New Years is probably enough. I do have some wreaths that stay on my wall and door year round. Nice to have a reminder.
