- Today we laid yet another of my sister’s to rest. I am so grateful for the time that God allowed us to share our lives with her and I find comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering. I feel saddened that her husband, four children, myself and my other siblings are experiencing such pain and loss yet again so soon after having lost our oldest sister only a year ago in January) Her wings were ready, our hearts were not.
- memories and moments
- supportive friends that feel like family
- flowing with my emotions and feelings rather than fighting them
- letting go of feeling responsible for everything all the time
- rest at the end of a very long day
Oh Sterling. I am so, so sorry. What heartache. Your line is heartbreakingly poignant: “Her wings were ready, our hearts were not.” Sending a long hug from across the miles. ❣️
Thank you so much, God bless ❤️
Sorry for your loss. Grateful for the backspace so I don’t say something stupid. I always feel less said is best said.
For me it is the memories that console.
Thank you, I can’t imagine you saying anything less than kind. ♥️
