Waiting

Daughter in surgery and waiting is the longest time. But am grateful things came together for her to go forward.

Grateful they got over COVID quickly and glad she isn’t coughing as that would be miserable.

Texting where you can hug and say I love you and it doesn’t get weird.

My brain  is moving quickly but thanks to modern technology I can carry on three conversations at once.

Grateful for those who realize I might not make sense. They know me well yet they still love me.

I will put my energy into action. My mother washed windows the day this daughter was born.

Grateful to have ability to do and friends and family that care.

  1. She is doing very well thank you. I get to take care of her a bit next week. She is 32 so she won’t put up with much.
