Remember birthdays we were excited about 13, 21, 25, 30! Then not as much fun you are admitting years are going by !I remember 50 . The black frosting on the grim reaper cake. The Hubby who couldn’t wait to be with friends. The skipped birthdays. The blended ones!
But this a gratitude site not a complaining forum. I have made peace with my birthday.
I love all the greetings. Facebook gathers people from all areas of your life.
Talking to grand daughter. Precious to hear her voice.
A card and gift left on my porch. Card was a tear jerker. Silly card sentimental words .
A rediscovered friend. God sent her back to me as I need her guidance and friendship.
Cake vanilla for me . Chocolate last week when it was Hubby’s.
I don’t look 70. Sometimes I don’t feel 70 but the best thing about 70 is I don’t care.
If I feel like doing it I do and if I don’t I don’t and that’s freedom and for that I’m grateful.
Happiest of birthdays Mary Ellen!!
