Tataroonio, Paparoonio!

1.  My beloved 96 year old Paparoonio passed lat Thursday

2.  My grandsons, Nate and Andrew, said that he passed the day before Valentine’s Day so he could be with his ladies in Heaven!

3.  He never wanted to be in a nursing home, in a wheelchair, and he wanted to go in his sleep.

4.  All those things worked out — he was only on a cane, lived in his own apartment, and died in his sleep!

5.  His last words were, “I love you all!”

6.  On Monday night when things started downhill, he asked my son Kevin — “are my lights going out?”

7.  We have had so many loving wishes, it’s been incredible.

8.  He wrote his own obituary, and there is a word in it that most people will have to look up in a dictionary.  He was a student of words and found it amusing that people might have to use the dictionary when reading his obituary!  And the definition fits him perfectly.

10. I’ve always told people who were grieving to open their hearts to receive all the love that will be heading in their direction.  Believe me, my heart is very very full right now!
