1. Family members’ flight to CA cancelled…plane mechanical problems

2. Plan B…let’s go to Vegas…that didn’t work either

3. Other family driving from OR to CA to meet in CA had vehicle problems…had to cancel trip on the way to CA…

4. Hmmmm….looks like CA wasn’t meant to be!

5. About the same time as above, granddaughter and her bff had gone to CA to have fun in the sun…

6. She and her friend were wading in the ocean and both stepped on sharp rocks…

7. Had to go the ER to get stitches in their feet!

8. But that didn’t stop them from going to Disneyland…

9. Sent us a phone pic showing them sitting in wheelchairs since they couldn’t walk…as a result they got to the front of the lines instead of having to wait (they’ll be talking about this when they’re old and gray!)

10. “When life gives you Lemons, make Lemonade!”…somebody said this….
