Our son-in-law’s brother passed away on Good Friday
A loving tribute and funeral for him today
So many people filled the church that extra seats needed to be added.
He had a 30 yr. career with the government and even then, and when he retired, he modestly contributed his time and many talents, one of which included crafting stained glass windows for the church.
He and his wife were married 54 years and each year on their wedding anniversary he would give her a red rose…she had 54 red roses at the church to honor that.
One of my favorite hymns, “Morning Has Broken”

It always feels like a huge gap to lose someone. My condolences. Thanks for sharing a little about him.
Jean- 54 roses – what a tribute from a loving wife to her dear husband. Thank you for posting this snapshot of love. Condolences, though, for his loss.
