You have to get up early to see the sunrise.
To chat with the insomniac.
To snatch the last granola bar.
To see the possum scurry under the neighbor’s porch.
To have a cup of coffee before daybreak.
To feel the brisk air of morning.
To appreciate a Winter coat.
To play forty games of Words with Friends before 7:00 a.m
To ponder,reflect and give thanks for a new day!
I try, and am successful more often than not, to thank God for the new day. I did, however, fall short and not get a good pic of the sunrise this morning and am a bit bummed. Too lazy, tired, or whatever. I will do better next time.
