First day of Fall 2019

  • Beautiful day to wake up.  Thanks God.
  • My son waking up his first work day at his new apartment.
  • Enjoying Skeeter and Jax.
  • Spending as much time as I can with Jax the next couple days as he will be crossing Rainbow Bridge on Thursday.  15 years of that wonderful pup but it is time and he deserves peace.
  • First time in 30 years I have lived in this house alone.
  • A feeling of independence.
  • A text from my son asking advice.  Still very sweet.
  • Seeing my son’s new apartment the day he moved.  His best friend since Kindergarten helped so much.  Going shopping with my son for groceries and things he needed for his apartment.
  • A full staff at work for the first time in awhile.
  • My cat, Skeeter.  It will be me and him against the world LOL.
  • I am sober, smoke free and making my way in life.
  • Good friends and family.
  • A peace I find even though this house needs lots of work.  It will all be okay.
  • I got Netflix back as my moved and may not keep his account.
  • Not taking life for granted.
  • Good music.
  • Great church family and women at my bible study that are like sisters to me.
  • The beautiful lake.
  • Feeling loved.

  1. Farewell to your son and Goodbye to Jax. Stay strong. I hope Skeeter is aware how you will need his affection. Be grateful is the memories!
