Thinking about Friday

I like to work and I’m grateful to make money but there is a sense of wonder about Friday afternoon.

Friday is the period at the end of a sentence. She did the things she had to and then she had some time to herself.

Friday is the bell at the end of school. It is the Yabba Dabba Do as the shift ends.

Time to create. Time to read. Time to organize. Time to go slow.

We usually go out to eat on Friday. Grateful for gift cards and cheap eats. Grateful I like my husband.

Soup cook off Sunday. Recipe recommended by Chef Son. Turkey Pot Pie Soup. Will I win the coveted gold spoon?

Have a good Friday! Breathe in and savor its promise.
